Road To GPC Nationals 2013 - Training Log
I had a log over at t-nation, and it's seemingly dead over there, so I`ve started using blogspot for all my training log and Paradox (Dave) told me that I should start a log here since the community is more active.
So alittle bit about myself, there`s not really much to say about me,other than I`m a Kinesiology student working towards a masters degree in exercise Phhys. or biomechanics and I pretty much eat sleep and breath powerlifting. So About my background, In july of 2011 I ended u partially tearing my ACL, MCL and meniscus play up until that point I had really never been into a gym. With rehabbing the injury we used alot of full squats eventually progressing to a barbell. Rehab soon ended an I was on my own for rehab. In the fall of 2011, one of my teacher told me I couldn`t set around and get fat so he suggested that I take up powerlifting, considering how I was built. I was immediately bitten by the iron bug and have never looked back. In the fall of 2012, my former teacher and training partner transferred schools, leaving to train on my own until I was able to find a genius, that took me under his wing and taught me alot about the russian principles of training. I ended doing my first meet in the july of 2012 where I totaled 482.5kg with 172.2/120/190 at 111kg, going 9/9. In october of 2012 I did another meet, where I totaled 562.5kg with 202.5/140/220 at 112kg. Now the goal is to start training in gear to get ready for GPC nationals (14weeks out) and APU provicials (IPF Affalite) (16-20Weeks out). I don't really have expectations for the gear I would like to make my raw training sets to be around 205kg ir 455lbs by the GPC meet would hopefully put me aroun 270kg squat, don't expect anything from my bench and dead since If my squats going up so is my dead and I hate benching so I only care if it's going up. |

Still moved well all thing considered.
