Hey guys, I'm 3 weeks (22 days) out from the APA Frisco Classic in Mississippi April 13th. I had a bad week of training all week. Wasn't planning on squatting today, but after work I went to squat...605 @226 lbs. (PR, sleeves). Only squatted 600 once at 239 lbs., so this 5 lb. PR at a lighter weight felt GREAT!

Last week the weights felt heavy and when I say heavy I mean 500 lbs. felt like 600 on deadlift and 275 felt like 315 on bench…I just had a very down week and my confidence was down big time 3 weeks out from a meet. Friday I went to the gym angry and pissed off and hit a 5 lb. PR on squat 605 and yesterday I pulled 605 another 5 lb. PR. This was only my 2nd time ever squatting and deadlifting 600 and I did it 15 lbs. lighter. What I’m trying to say is when you have a down week in the gym, don’t quit! Go back the next day angry and redeem yourself! 17 days untill the APA Frisco Classic April 13th!!!
