Btb - Hips were fine. Nowadays I keep my hips aligned and under the bar, previously I would push my hips back before I initiated the squat, that would pre-stretch my hamstrings and hips and lead to a very tight position at the bottom. So it'd be tougher on the hips. Nowadays I just sort of slot down and rebound when I reach the end of my hamstring flexibility. Which admittedly isn't much! Stretching for the hamstrings is the next project, I never had particularly flexible hamstrings but they're worse after the injury. Building bigger quads has helped a lot actually and takes the strain off the hips/hamstrings area. |

Haha Btb, fueled my workout that! Thursday 10th January Low Bar, beltless 20kg x 3 60kg x 3 100kg x 1 140kg x 1 160kg x 1 145kg x 3, 3, 3 Bench Press, touch n go 60kg x 3 80kg x 3 100kg x 1 120kg x 1 135kg x 1 130kg x 3, 3, 3 SLDL 60kg x 1 100kg x 1 140kg x 1 180kg x 1 170kg x 5, 5 Not bad, got through it. Really fucking tired from work and stuff but I was fine once I got going. Bench and SLDL were piss easy. Did SLDL DOH and no chalk, just 'cos! |
