Ya, 8 reps pretty much did me in as well on the first 2 weeks of JB's program. Strong work once again mate.

Not sure what is planned exactly but it'll certainly be an overhead and maybe some kind of carry. I may try the stones as well. |

Thanks for that response. I took some time replying in that you answered my question in a way I did not expect. It took me a while to get at what you are saying as I was thinking something else when I asked the question, but you actually answered the question I should have been asking in terms of conditioning. Thanks for that.
Love the 8s! I agree with you on the hip position as I think it is more natural to do what puts you into the best position, or at the very least avoid the things that put you in a bad position on the squat. Nice sarcasm on your flexibility, but you do have some long ass legs that have to go somewhere out of the way! Cheers.

Mike - I'm not the coach that M&B deserves, just the coach that it needs.
Rob - It's a continuum of reps, back and forth. 8's are hard though. --- Saturday 16th February Axle Clean & Press Farmers Walk Yoke First events session ever! I can't even really recall what weights were on the bar but I was limited in the Axle by what I could clean. I just couldn't get the weight from belt to chest. The pressing was manageable, I like the Axle cos I can actually rack it, not like a normal bar. Farmers were around 110kg per hand and Yoke was around 220kg altogether and was alright too. I moved quite slowly with them both. All in all good fun, but hard! I'll try and get out there again in a couple weeks. Last edited by Fazc; 02-16-2013 at 11:10 AM. |
