Ya, 8 reps pretty much did me in as well on the first 2 weeks of JB's program. Strong work once again mate.

Okay, some tomorrow I will be going to Birmingham to do some events training with some UK friends of mine. Not sure what is planned exactly but it'll certainly be an overhead and maybe some kind of carry. I may try the stones as well.

Thanks for that response. I took some time replying in that you answered my question in a way I did not expect. It took me a while to get at what you are saying as I was thinking something else when I asked the question, but you actually answered the question I should have been asking in terms of conditioning. Thanks for that.

I agree with you on the hip position as I think it is more natural to do what puts you into the best position, or at the very least avoid the things that put you in a bad position on the squat. Nice sarcasm on your flexibility, but you do have some long ass legs that have to go somewhere out of the way!

Saturday 16th February

Axle Clean & Press

Farmers Walk

Yoke

First events session ever!

I can't even really recall what weights were on the bar but I was limited in the Axle by what I could clean. I just couldn't get the weight from belt to chest. The pressing was manageable, I like the Axle cos I can actually rack it, not like a normal bar. Farmers were around 110kg per hand and Yoke was around 220kg altogether and was alright too. I moved quite slowly with them both.

All in all good fun, but hard! I'll try and get out there again in a couple weeks.
