How do you like the trap bar shrugs? I used the trap bar a very times for deadlifts but never tried shrugs.

They actually seem harder, but they seem to work the traps better. They are pulling straght up more and back less, if that makes any sense.

Last nights work out.
Pressing day nothing much just a lil more than last week. Taking it slow adding a little each week. shoulder press 85 x 6 x 3 sets Bench 130 x 8 130 x 7 lat flies 25 x 6 x 2 sets each side Incline bench 110 x 7 110 x 6 seated triceps press 45 x 8 x 3 sets Last edited by HRhoden; 01-12-2013 at 10:04 AM. |

Tomorrow is the big day.
Leg and back day. I probably have enough volume already, but my legs feel it a lot more than my back. So I am think of adding rack pulls to hit the back a lil more. What would be a good weight to start with? Starting light is what I am thinking. Like 250 or so and adding like 20 lbs every week. I usually only add 10 lbs a week to squat and deadlift. Does this sound reasonable? any thoughts? |
