Default 3-16-2013 Week 3: DESTROYED!!!!

1 Scoop of Juggernaut HP pre-workout, sipped on anoter diluted scoop during the first few sets. Already warm from "Light Deads" of stuff at work :P Wanted a strong deadlift session tonight to make up for the rest of this week. They definitely set the pace for the rest of the workout.

Deads: 245/5, ALL 8 SETS
Bench: 150/6, ALL 8 SETS
Squats: 230/5, ALL 8 SETS

Widened my stance a bit on deadlifts and felt a lot stronger. Took a little longer rest between sets, too, which helped, I think. Started feeling hungry about halfway through, so before squats I headed to the truck and drank about 6 ounces of hot and sour soup with chicken meatballs

Good end to my week.

I think I mentioned I had been feeling a lot of reflux on Thursday night's training session, but honestly, it wasn't difficult at all to hold down my soup during squats. I had started refluxing and feeling awful, but felt tons better after getting some food in mah belly.

Here are a couple pics from last night because, well, I could. So I did. Hovering around 235 right now, might try and get up to about 250 here in the next couple months then cut down before school starts in the

I'm breaking rest protocol for this week. Only resting one whole day between the last of week three and the first of week four so I can get all my sessions in before I go on holiday next week. This will be my first vacation in at least three years and I will get to see my dad's side of the family, which hasn't happened in the same span of time. Hoping this rain clears up so I can go lift :/
