This was a monster squat for me. 4 months ago I hit a 585 buffalo bar single but it was a grinder. My straight bat squat is usually 40-50 pounds higher than my buffalo bar squat for whatever reason.

Today's 585 was easy and fast. My CNS was humming and I never felt shaky at all. I didn't even need to hit rage mode to get this.

I think my raw squat is 640-650 right now.

For the record, I added the Anderson Powerlifting 2K wraps. They were great.

My spud belt stinks for squats. Just can't get it tight enough. Need a real belt.

Great work BtB! You're becoming a chain freak in the dungeon! Keep workin!

Nice, that's more like it!

I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing to only deload 40 at the bottom. You only really want marginal weight increase at the top for raw anyway. This way you get a bit more bottom end work in.

If the purpose is just to increase your raw squat then chains are just a tool for that, no need to hit mega chained numbers over your raw max imo.
