Lovely form. Slow, deliberate, firm with a strong finish.

Like making love to a lady.

January 10th, 2013

4th day back on low carbs. I was hungry as heck during the session. Weight is coming back down, strength is moving up. Injury is healed. Stars are aligning.

This was a monster squat for me. 4 months ago I hit a 585 buffalo bar single but it was a grinder. My straight bat squat is usually 40-50 pounds higher than my buffalo bar squat for whatever reason.

Today's 585 was easy and fast. My CNS was humming and I never felt shaky at all. I didn't even need to hit rage mode to get this.

I think my raw squat is 640-650 right now.

For the record, I added the Anderson Powerlifting 2K wraps. They were great.

My spud belt stinks for squats. Just can't get it tight enough. Need a real belt.

Squats - Buffalo Bar
145 x 5
235 x 3
325 x 1
415 x 1
465 x 1
465 + 60lbs Chains x 1
465 + 120lbs Chains x 1

Chain setup is not optimal right now. Only deloads about 40 pounds in the hole.

Awesome squat! I'll say you were humming. Looked like you were bored and disgusted the weight wasn't more of a challenge. Goodness. I won't even comment on the deadlifts, that's your bread and butter. Just think what you'll hit when you're humming like that on bench! 1900+

I got the 2K wrist wraps for Christmas too. They are nice, but MUCH stiffer than the cheap ones I was used to. It's taking me a bit to figure out how to wrap them right for me.

Good work. Is this your first time using chains?

Great work steve! Glad everything is firing at 100% right now. Looking forward to watching u do some more hardcore smashing. This session says a loy for the low carbers. 4th day of low carb, smashs a 585 squat. If you are going to get a new belt, i for one can vouch for inzer.
