Legs and glutes are killing me. I've been hitting them hard and heavy, so it's a good time for a little break. After shoulders yesterday I got some upper back in today. I just hooked up the pullup bars to the door, put one of my new sawhorses up close enough to get my feet on in front of me, and went to town.
No set or rep scheme, or plan for which grip I'd use, just grabbing the bars and getting to it. It feels good to not overthink it, and I ended up with an awesome pump in my biceps and forearms, along with some good blood flowing through my lats. Good times. Depending on how I feel, dead lifts tomorrow, or maybe another squat day to take it easy on my posterior chain.

Thanks btb. I finally got my shipment of superdrol today. I immediately took one with a shot of milk combined with my chocolate cycle support. Tomorrow I'll take 2, one with breakfast and one before training in the evening. Next week I'll probably go to 3 a day, then it'll be off to the races. Hell yeah.

2 sessions to log. Busy night last night. I trained, but didn't have time to log.
Last nights deadlift session- After warming up to get to 275, I decided to make it interesting by alternating snatch grip deads with sumo deads. I kept the weight at 275 and did sets of 5 reps. I switched back and forth for a total of 4 iterations of both exercises for a total of 40 reps at 275. I need to work in plenty of lighter sessions with my heavier work. I love lifting heavy, but doing it every day is leaving me really sore. I also need to mix up my sessions, combining light and heavy work so I don't burn out. Today's bench session- Bench- (warm up) 45x5 135x3 225x3 255x2 (working sets) 275x2 275x2 275x2 275x2 275x2 Superset of pullups and reverse grip bench- 5 total supersets with 10-15 reps of 135 on bench and 3-7 reps of pullups. Finished with a couple quick sets of lateral raises with 25lb in each hand, then called it it a night. I've only done a deuce with 275 ONCE, and it was over a year ago. Until I got 295 Saturday I would have never thought I could use 275 as a working weight. I know it's to early to "feel" the superdrol (WAY too early, from what I've read), but I feel AMAZING today. Super confident, super alpha male. I fired a pistol for the first time today. An Army issue M9, and basically I kicked ass. I qualified at expert level on my first try, hitting 27 out of 30 targets. The average was around 20, and a couple officers just made it, hitting 16 targets with a 15 minimum. Freaking officers. Useless without paperwork to do. Anyways, placebo effect or not, I feel great, and I can't wait until this crap actually kicks in. It's so on.

That's some quality work with 275.

Squat day. Successful squat day. 1 rep PR successful.
345lb. It wasn't easy, and it moved very, very slowly, but it moved. After I got it I did a quick deuce with 295, 12x135, then a few reps with just the bar to engrain good form. Unfortunately, the superdrol is already giving me wicked back pumps. I actually fell out of a formation run this morning because of them. I wasn't even out of breath, but the pumps were extremely painful. After I sat down just now I could feel my pulse in my lower back, thanks to the pump. I hope I have at least 1 working kidney by the end of this cycle. Totally worth it.

Current lifts-
295 bench 345 squat 405 deadlift (I can probably do more than this, but I only have 390lb of weight.) Current goals- 315 bench 365 squat 455 deadlift Long term goals- 365 bench, 315 paused 405 squat 500+ deadlift I'm not sure on the time line for my short term goals. I'm going to try to get my numbers up during this cycle, but after this I'm going to have to cut and get ready for air assault. After air assault I'll probably do another strength cycle and hopefully I'll have my current goals by no later then that second cycle. If I get my long term goals at any point in my life, I'll be quite happy. Of course, I set no limitations on myself, but I've got lots of goals to work on. Once I get out of the Army in 4 years I'll be able to persue strength more thoroughly, without having to worry about running. But for now, running and conditioning is important, especially with air assault looming.
