Thank you. I really like the plan you laid out, my legs are almost never sore the way they were. The lingering groin pain isn't there any more, and I can't wait till my CNS just expects 4 plates+ so it just accepts it. I said a couple years ago to myself that my goal was 600-400-600 by the time I was 25, I'd love to see it!

I think the "better late than never" saying applies in weight lifting better than many other situations!
Monday Bench barx10 135x10 225x3 245x3 280x8 PR DB Bench 120s x8x2 120s x6 would've been the full 8, but right hand started drifting towards my face at the bottom of the last rep and I just dumped for safety. Machine Fly 220x10 230x8x2 Alt DB Curl 45s x8x3 Machine Preacher Curl +70x10 +80x10x2 Dips BWx18x18x15 Squats - all sets from 315+ were done within 6 minutes. Was feeling extremely good for some reason which is why I went for the 415 single. barx15 135x10 225x5 315x5 335x4 365x3 385x2 415x1 365x3 Fin. Good day! |

Tuesday
Deadlift - decided to do conventional today. My hips have been killing me for like 3 weeks, and after reading around a little I wanted to see if laying off of sumo for a little while would make the pain decrease. 135x10 225x8 315x3 365x3 405x3 PR for conventional, the last time I even tried was 2 years ago haha! 445x3x4 sets (first and last in video) Bent-over Rows - lower back was more fatigued than usual and made these hard 225x10 245x8x2 DB Rows - did these standing up with one hand on a bench...what an ab workout! 120x8x2 100x15 Hammer Strength Iso Pulldown 2 plates x10x3 Lat Pulldown 155x10x3 Rowing 10 min, 2000m Another good day. Pleased with conventional stance. What I was most excited about was the strength of my grip. For once I didn't have to worry about holding onto the bar. Thanks BtB! |

Really hoping to continue on the path. With respect to bench, I've been trying to get a max equivalent of ~350 with reps. Hopefully try to get a new PR next week with 1 rep.
Wednesday Cardio stuff 10 min rowing, 2300m 3 min walk on incline, 7 min jog Ab stuff Speed Squats 225x3x5 sets 315x1x5 sets Front Squats 225x1...no fun. back was toasted from yesterday No dumbbell sidebends, my lower back and obliques are absolutely fried. I think it's a combination of conventional (lower back) and then the DB rows without my knee on a bench - turned out to be an ab shredder. |
