Yes, absolutely. I never row without straps. With straps I could row more than 120 pound dumbbells for 10 reps. With them I did 265 for 10 reps last year. Same for barbell rows. Using them will allow you to build back strength in ways not possible without them. this will help your deadlifts and overall grip strength. The only time I do strapless is on the platform, and I can pull 700 pounds easy.

Monday Pressed (haha) for time today, hurried through stuff. Still didn't get to do extra pressing, will try to increase volume on Thursday. Bench Press - paused, with a press command. Just for fun, never done it. barx10 135x8 225x5 275x3 315x1 - hard. Hit the rack and just didn't set up right. 320x1 - EASY. Used wrist wraps on this one and it flew up after the command, setup was butter and my elbow tuck just felt right. DB Bench Press 110s x8x3 these were easier than last week Chest Fly 210x8 220x10x2 Alt DB Curl SS Dips 45s x8x3 SS BW+45 x10x3 Cable Curl 67.5 x10x3 Rowing 6:30, 1500m Can definitely tell I'm taking Creatine now. Had plenty of energy to keep going (time constraints) and my arms were PUMPED. |

Thank you! I want it up just a little bit (hopefully) by April, but I feel it would be a solid second attempt maybe.
Tuesday Deadlift 135x10 225x5 315x3 365x5 405x3 455x1 505x1 PR strapless. Flew up (my opinion backed by partner), but I almost lost my grip at the top. Gotta get my hands tougher! Tore off 2 calluses ![]() 535x1 PR Strapped. Flew up again, but got away from my body past the knee so had to grind it past that. I'm confident if I can get my grip sorted out I can hit 550s. Bent-over Row; strapped 225x8 245x8 265x8 PR I guess, never done with straps DB Row; strapped 100x12x3 / per arm...will definitely go up on these next time. Felt it a lot in my rear deltoid, am I doing this right? Lat Pulldown 160x8x3 Hammer Strength Iso Pulldown 4 plates x9x3 Fin. Huge forearm and biceps pump. Whatever muscle or tendon you work out when you do reverse curls is absolutely fried right now. I had to sit down with my arms on armrests to stir whilst cooking tonight !
