Great workout Jace! Like all lifts, bench form can take a long time get get straightened out. With chins or pull ups, there isn't one of those assisted machines? If not try and find a box, or move a bench near the bar so you can do more negatives. Doing one or two isn't going to do much for ya . Just my two cents though, feel free to throw that change back at my face

I am not a "gym." I am working out of the basement of what am going to call a 'powerlifting coach.' I am doing what he tells me, when he tells me. While I do not have (nor know) his full credentials, I am slowly learning more about him. While at work, I may do some random seaching on him in an attempt to flesh out the man behind man and post them here.

Looks like you found a good set up. You are also going about it the right way. listen, take it all in, and work! I trained for 8 years or so with someone else determining all my workouts before I started to do it on my own. It was a learning experience that I wouldn't change. I still let him call my weights for the most part, as he will push me to my limit on most occasions.

Default Today and Tonight

TODAY

I have felt ... restless all day. It could be from the supp trial. In a weird mood...that I get in time to time.

Angry.
Hyper.
Eager.
Bored.
Aggrevated.

These are just a few of the mixed moods for today.

If I were to give a another description of current mood and state of mind....two characters from two different films come to mind.

1. Daniel Russo from The Karate Kid
2. Luke Skywalker from The Empire Strikes Back (while training with Yoda)


TONIGHT

I will be deadlifting....not sure how much for how many. A few things have me un-nerved with training with new crew: the scaling back on weight & the 2 hrs it takes to perform 40 min of work. I am use to solo work and getting in and getting out....there's so much social stuff going on topics I have nothing to contribute to that I end up sitting there waiting for my turn on the rotation...

The Session will be posted tonight.

Smash the weights!!! Try and focus on the positives of getting help on form and the experience they're passing along to you. I can totally understand not liking the long ass workouts, that would kill me! But soak up the knowledge, and do your best!
