Great to be back, but mrs Hepburn was not as easily forgiven as I made her out to be.....I had to give an "Exclusive Commitment" to her atleast until I win my first power lifting meet....at which point she thinks she will have me forever......

Not bad. I looked at it as a "warm up"....get an idea where I am before going full speed back in, I will do it again tonight, and a couple days next week, then back on track 12-31-12
Thanks Lee, I just did connect with the lower weight, higher volume workout. Wired a little different I guess. Glad to be back where I belong though!!

Wednesday 12-19-12
another "warm up" to get back into Hepburn shape Squats: 145 x 5 167 x 5 189 x 3 211 x 3 That was it, Hip pain was too much...Still dont know what I am going to do as far as squats reps and sets....thinking about trying 20 reps maybe. Bench 132 x 6 154 x 4 176 x 3 187 x 3 187 x 2 187 x 2 187 x 2 187 x 2 187 x 2 SLDL 134 x 8 134 x 8 134 x 8 DB Bench 25 x 6 30 x 4 40 x 8 40 x 8 40 x 8....too light, but 40 is the heaviest DB they have, I will bring some of mine from home next time. Bench Shrug 220 x 6 242 x 8 242 x 8 242 x 8 Other than the squats, things went well....jus trying to dail in the weights to start back up on the old routine. Friday = December Deadlift Challange!!

40 lb DB's are the heaviest they have? Wow - just when I thought I've heard everything about the lack of equipment some gyms have.
Bummed to hear about your hip pain. Will you or have you sought medical attention or physiotherapy for it?

The hip pain is arthritis, right hip joint and lower back. the lower back hurts most of the time, but is manageable. USUALLY the hip pain is also, meaning I can still squat pretty decent, and it hurts later, but last night....just hurt too much while actually doing them.
