I think it's a good thing to step out of the comfort zone on occasion. Doing so has definitely helped me prepare for things like meets.

Thanks Jim, the W/O actually went well, and after vacation (2 weeks and counting) it might become a fixture on Sat mornings...2nd job really needs me on Friday nights...PLUS more money to be earned on Friday nights = WIN

Week 3 Day 1

Deads:
205 x5x5x5x5x5...up 15 lbs

Bench:
150 x6x6x6x6x6x6.....up 5 lbs

Squat:
175 x5x5x5x5x5.....up 10 lbs

Rating 9/10

Great workout, went up on everything.
Deads felt light......
Bench looked iffy after first set, but decided to get my head out of my a$$ and get it done, next 5 sets, hard but got em.
Squats let me know right away I added 10 instead of 5, but again, got em done.

Wednesday is Crush day!!

It's interesting how the order of lifts is the opposite of what would be at a meet.

Can't ask for any more than solid progression! Nice to see the effort put into it as well.

Jim, having never competed (Yet) I never thought about that. I do them in this order because the deads are "my lift" so I do them first when I have everything to give, I bench next becasue that is my second best lift, squat third because it is my worst. and some "Sr" meets down here in Fla encourage dead and bench only, or reqiure a safety squat bar when squatting.

But I will recinsider my order of lifts when I am done with this cycle.
