Just an update.

Decided no squats or deads until back heals up. I am tired of trying to drop weight and work through it just to re-injur when it feels almost there. HOPEFULLY this week, and get back to it Monday.

In the mean time I will be doing the "BRO" workout.....bench and curls (first time in these) my workout partner is a big curl guy......

Brian (WO partner) has been bitten by the powerlifting bug. So when ever I am back to it, we are going to start the 3X3 workout. I am hoping that when the back does heal, starting out with higher volume, lower weights, I can ease back into the heavy lifting without any problems. Also it will be a good way for him to work into the 3 lifts.

Who knows, it the cycle workds well...we will just run it again!!

PS. Still go some personal issues I am working on, if I am not commenting on everyone's log like I normally do, it isn't because I am not reading them, just really pressed for time lately.

What are you doing for rehab Moe? Just curious to compare notes in case I am missing anything that might help.

It is an odd one for me that my issue always re-occurs while squatting yet it is deads that aggravate it the most. Squats I can do.

Hopefully your back heals up lickety split!

Tonights the night, back is felling better, just a dull ache in the lower bach, but that could very easily be from the usual lower back soreness I get every day from my crappy $1500.00 mattress set.

SOOOOOOOOOO I am going to attempt 5x5 deads with 125 lbs, and 5x5 squats with 125 pounds and see how it goes, and how it feels tomorrow.

PLEASE, if any of you out there are religious types, PLEASE pray to the lifting gods that things are on the way up for me. I need to get back to that good place my life was at 2 months ago before everything took a nose dive.

Gotcha in my prayers big guy

I used to wake up every morning of my adult life with lower back pain. Bought a sleep number bed and it went away within a week once I dialed in the sweet spot It is sooooo sweet to get out of bed in the morning with no back pain! Of course actual mileage may vary lol.
