Here we go again...285, felt a strain on my right side...I am REALLY getting tired of this.


SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I have to find another routine.....something that doesn't beat me up constantly. Now, don't get me wrong, I love Hepburn, and those of you who follow my log know if Hepburn was a girl, I would marry her. BUT, this is spousal abuse!

OK fellow MAB'ers, I need some help here, As I am still a beginner.

I am looking for a routine more on the powerlifting side, basic exercises, strength building, that is NOT 90% 1RM every workout like Hepburn is. Even if it is only for 2-3 months just to give the body a break from constant 90% lifting. AND, I need to go injury free for a while to get my fire and passion back!!!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

dont know what you can do routine wise the only thing i can think of but i dont think it will be your thing is maybe bit of a bodbuilding routine with like 70% of your 1rm just for a couple of months.

Great work Marvin! Suckers your body isn't cooperating! You could do what I'm doing for deads. Periodized CAT Deadlifts, here's the link. You just enter your 1RM and go from there...Periodized CAT Deadlift Routine

Well Moe Moe, perhaps on deads you can limit them to one set a week. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Maybe a Reg Park ramping session. 3 total sets, 60, 80, 100% x 5 reps?
