MAN thoses felt good, first heavy day since the back strain. Was gonna go higher, but figured I better not push it. I will pick up Hepburn where I left off next week !!

Squats:
105 x 20

Since the heavier weights are really being hampered by my hip arthritis, gonna try lowering the weights, and doing 20 repper for a while...add 10 lbs each week and see how that goes.

Rating 8.5 / 10

Only reason it wasn't a 9 is because it was a "see what the back can handle" day and not a "regularly scheduled program, already in progress" day

I am already pumped for Friday!!!!
Great work Marvin! Glad your back was cooperating and deads went good! Keep workin hard

And with all those 20 reppers being good cardio, I am sure you will soon beable to do 2 sets of 20 reppers

Heavy deads are good deads. At the lighter weights, the 20 reppers are definitely better that the hip pain...ask me aging when the weights start to get up there.....I might be humming a different tune!

WHAT???? CARDIO????? I might have to rethink my position on those......

Thanks Jim, feels good to do some heavy pulling.

Friday 1-25-13

Bench: 180 lbs x3x3x3x3x2x2
Mil Press: 110 lbs x2x2x2x2x2x2

Pendlay Rows: 125 lbs x10x9x7 = 26...up next time
Kirk Rows: 125 lbs X7x6x5 = 18
DB Bench: 65 lbs x10x8x6 = 24
Mil Press: 85 lbs x8x6x6 = 20

Rating 9/10

GREAT workout!
Bench felt light.
Pendlays felt great
Still staying ahead of my WO partner, although he is slowly closing the gap on some (Bench, DB Bench) BUT, at the same time, I am pulling further ahead on others (Rows and Presses) Definitely a good "rivalry" going.

More Importantly...for the first time in weeks...I feel like I'm back 100%
