Been really busy lately folks. Will try to get around to everyone's log this evening! Friday's squat session was not great. Spent much of the day crawling around on my roof putting up Christmas lights, so lower back was not happy with me at all!
5/3/1 Cycle 7 Week 1 Day 4 50 minutes Power cleans warmup 45 x 5, 135 x 5 165 x 2 185 x 2 x 2 I knew I was in trouble today when 165 felt heavy Squat Day Training Max - 310 Back Squat Warmup 45 x 10 125 (40%) x 5 155 (50%) x 5 185 (60%) x 3 Weight (Goal) Actual 200 (5) 5 235 (5) 5 265 (5) 5 Didn't hold anything back on the top set. 5 reps was all that was there, and it was tough! Tried Steve's tip on moving heels in instead of toes out. Think I had a slightly wider stance but felt depth was pretty good. Based on how my legs are feeling today, they got some pretty good work haha! BBB Squat 185 x 8 x 3 +5lbs Can't really call this BBB since I only hit 3 sets of 8, but it was 3 sets more than I wanted to do Seated leg curl 120 x 10 x 3 +10lbs Smith machine BB calf raise 2.5pps x 15 x 3 |

Clean weight looks very good. I like the 3x8 squats too. If I were doing Wendler's I don't think I would have ever trained squats more than that
