Deadlift days are always somewhat unpredictable. It seems no matter what you do you never know what your body is going to give you. Sometimes it goes the other way as well when you have a better day than you expect.

You still salvaged what you could by using the VG's and getting some accessory work done. I hope your hammy is OK as well. On the snatch grip deaads, make sure you keep weeight at a point where you can still generate good speed.

Thanks Jim, hammy feels ok, just a little twinge in there so it should be fine. The weight on the snatch grip is just right for good speed (on a normal day). I could not believe how heavy 215 felt lol.

We will make up for it week 3 with a PR

Seems to be working is a big understatement. 250 X8 is huge Rich! last week I did 255 X4 and thought that was good up until now lol. Floor press is also very impressive. Well done once again buddy!

Haha thanks Jim! I was just hoping to match my previous 6, maybe get 7, never dreamed I could muscle up an 8th rep

The last rep on those floor presses is one tough b!tch to lock out!!!

Don't know if it's a PBR or not. Don't really care. I wanted to get 6 and I got it

BBB Squat

DB lunges
Had planned on lunges here, but honestly after the BBB sets my quads and hams were already toast!

Standing BB calf raise (dead grip)
255 x 10 x 3 +10lbs

Very happy with today's work. Was worried about that right hammy, but it held up really well. Not sure if I will be able to walk tomorrow though. Mission accomplished
