Ok Jay, believe it or not I will be hitting the gym today
OHP is the flavor of the day. And Wendler is making it pretty tough on me to start Cycle 8. Have to hit 165x5 minimum Previous best reps at that weight was 3 back in Cycle 6!!

5/3/1 Cycle 8 Week 1 Day 1
50 minutes Overhead Press Day Strict Military Press Training Max - 195 Warmup 80 (40%) x 5 100 (50%) x 5 115 (60%) x 3 Weight (Goal) Actual Working sets 125 (5) 5 145 (5) 5 165 (5) 5 PBR + 5PP vid This is +2 on strict from Cycle 6 ![]() BBB Standing BTNP 135 x 8, 8, 8, 6, 6 +5lbs Fell 4 reps short of my goal of 8x5, but I'll get it next week! Cable facepulls 120 x 12 x 3 +6 reps Chins BW+45 x 7 BW+35 x 5 -2 BW+25 x 5 -1 BW x 5 -2, 5 -1 Lost a lot of reps here. First week back I always suck. I'll have them back by the end of the cycle! Overall pleased with the start of Cycle 8

5/3/1 Cycle 8 Week 1 Day 2
30 minutes Deadlift Day all lifts raw double over unless noted Training Max - 420 Warmup 135 x 5 170 (40%) x 5 210 (50%) x 5 WTF? This felt heavy!! 250 (60%) x 3 Weight (Goal) Actual liquid chalk 275 (5) 5 315 (5) 5 355 (5) 1 O/U, , VG's 5Right hammy started feeling off during the warmup. By the work sets it was obvious something was not right. Figured I would stop at prescribed and see how the lighter accessory work went. Snatch grip deads 295 x 5 x 1 +10lbs Nope. Not going to push it here. Hammy was not happy with 295 either! RDL 135 x 5 x 1 Was supposed to be 245x8x3 here but figured I would just go really light and stretch the hams out. After 5 reps I decided it was time to pack it in and live to lift another day I did get the main work in, but it was a complete bust tonight.
