Cake. My triceps were smoked by that point though. Too much dicking around with 405. I should have skipped the 3 board, and went 2, then 1. I have another shirt to fart around with. It's a 3 ply Rage X with an SDP neck. It's a bit more radical than the one I'm in now. I think I'm going to work on lockout strength before I get in that though. I don't need a shirt to cover weaknesses. I just need to get stronger before I get to working in something rediculous. Speaking of gear, I think I see some suited Deadlift on the horizon..

Deadlift 135x10 135x8 225x5 315x5 405x3 495x3 BB Rows 135x12 225x6 225x6 225x6 225x6 DB Shrugs 4 Sets of 15 with 85s GHR 4 sets of 10 Training Grade: B 'twas a good day. My pull is feeling good. I could have pulled it for 5, but 3 was my prescribed reps. I tried getting in a Deadlift suit. I got it all the way on, but couldn't get my legs out to pull sumo. I could have gone conventional in it though. I'm not changing my pull at this point considering the work I've out into getting it right. This week is gonna be weird, we are benching on Saturday, and squatting Sunday afternoon cus of how Christmas falls this week. |

Bench Bar x ??? Bar x ??? 135x12 135x10 225x5 275x1 Shirt on 315x2-2 Board 365x2 -1 Board 365x1 405x0 405x1 405x0 Training Grade: C It all went well today. I have officially made the switch from the scorpion style bench to the spread style. It had me pressing the bar up over my face. Those zeros at 405 I threw into the rack. Thank god I had good spotters or I'd be missing the top of my head. I'm plenty strong to press it, getting used to the technique is where it gets funky. I will be sticking with this way though. My back is fresh as a daisy. The other way would have me screwed for at least a day afterward. |
