Pseudo Deadlift Deload... Kinda... Wide Stance Good Morning 150x6 150x6 150x6 240x5 Deadlift Off 6" Blocks 405x3 455x3 495x3 545x2 GHR 3 sets of 8 Training Grade: A I had no real intention to go that heavy. The GP was to go 515x5. Nah... 495 went TOO well for me to leave it at that. That's a PR, and 10 lbs off of my pull from the floor. I'm going to pull for a heavy single next week. Depending on how I feel, I might shoot for a PR. |

Bench 135x??? 135x5 225x5 275x1 Shirt On 315x2 2 Board 365x2 2 Board 405x1 2 Board 455x1 2 Board Close Grip Stability Press 185x5 185x5 185x5 185x5 185x5 Rope Pressdown/ Face Pull super set 65x12x12 65x12x12 65x12x12 65x12x12 Training Grade: D I should have stuck with my original plan. No excuses for a shitty sesh. I should have known better. The stability presses we did are just a bar loaded with 135 and 2 25s hanging off the ends of the bars with the bands you get from Elite. They are a little scary at first. I like them. Might take them heavier next week. |

Deadlift 135x??? 135x??? 225x8 315x3 405x1 495x1 560x0 Training Grade: D It was just a rough day all around. Everything felt heavy. I rushed through everything. I don't think that doing an extra heavy on a deload day helped me either. If I could have gotten the weight above my knees it would have been cake the rest of the way up. Overall, I can't be too pissed about how my pulling has come. Switching from sumo back to conventional wasn't easy, but I tink it plays to my strengths better. I have some work to do with my upper back strength, and a little glute and hammie strength, and I no time I'm sure I'll be pulling PRs. The way my training cycle is, I pull for a PR every 12 week. Or at the end of the 2nd training cycle, if I feel up to it. I will continue pulling conventional, as I feel like it doesn't hurt my squat as much as pulling sumo. |
