Deadlift 135x12 225x8 315x5 405x1 405x1 515x2 Rack Pull 405x5 515x3 515x3 515x3 Bent Over BB Row W/ Swiss Bar 135x8 225x5 225x5 225x5 225x5 Training Grade: B A day just like any other. Pulling conventional feels good. This training cycle is really just bench marking my conventional pull. I'm not pushing for maxes at this point. Could have gone 525 for 2, but again I'm not going for true maxes. Next training cycle, I might jump into a dead suit and figure some shit out. We have an Inzer Fusion, lightly used on our shelf, so I might give it a whirl. Need a new belt as well. I gotta get with Brian on the size of his old Inzer lever belt. It fits me just fine. |

Yup, but it's gotta be hot.
That's the plan for now. Pulling sumo Wednesday, and squatting on Saturday, really beat up my adductors and abductors to the point where pulling sumo was a detriment. I feel better squatting as well not having beat up the same muscles. Thank you cap'n! |

Bench 135x??? 225x5 275x1 Shirt on 315x2 -3 Board 365x2 -3 Board 405x1 -2 Board 455x1- 1/2 Board 475x1 -3 Board 475x0 -2 Board Close Grip Bench W/ 80 Lbs in chains 185x5 + 80 135x5 + 80 135x5 + 80 135x5 + 80 DB Incline Press 60s x 8 Training Grade: B 455 to the 1/2 is a PR. It was cake. It'd have gone chest no prob. The 475 to the 2 was a different story. I should have skipped the 3 board press entirely. After that I was gassed. Clint has been harping on me to get my belly up,and keep it up. Today was easier than ever to do that. My only issue is that on my heavier sets, I don't sink m shoulders, and sit deep on my traps. To a lot of people that wont make sense, but if you bench in a shirt it should. All in all, I'm happy with the sesh. I cut the session short because I was done like a pork chop on a grill. I thought that I wouldn't be worth a shit today, as I put up a fence with my wife all weekend. No rest what so ever. To my surprise, I had a great session. Hopefully Brian will be willing to part with that shirt after the meet. |
