Deload Week Deadlift 115x5 135x5 175x5 *Tried out a mixed grip today, I was able to position my body a little differently than I could with a double-overhand grip. I also felt my legs working more than usual. May start experimenting more with a mixed grip and see if it works better for me. Decided to skip my OH Press deload and just dive into some squats today!
Friday, March 8th. 2013 Wave 1 - Cycle 5 Squat (Cycle 4 Percentages) 2x5xBar 105x5 130x5 155x3 180x3 205x3 235x3 *Wasn't real happy with my last set, I failed to hit 3 reps a few weeks ago and was starting to have a mental block thinking about last time.. I set the safety pins in just in case I couldn't make it and I may have set the pins a little high. I was facing opposite of the mirror so I'm not sure how low I got, I may have been a little shy of hitting parallel. Back Raises 3x10 w/ medicine ball *Not sure how much the medicine ball weighed, maybe 10 pounds? But, it was enough to get a nice burn/pump going. GHR's 4x8xBW DB Side Bends 3x10 w/ 40lb DB Calf Raises 3x10x35

Theres something about squatting that makes me nervous, I don't know if its because I'm training by myself, the weight, fear of not being able to bring the weight back up, could be a fear dumping the bar or maybe a combination of all the above.. Though I know I have to change something.

Have the day off from work today, figured I'd hit the gym.. Everything went well, felt pretty focused and motivated. Wish all my training sessions could be like that...
Saturday, March 9th. 2013 Wave 1 - Cycle 5 Bench 60x5 75x5 90x3 105x3 125x3 140x2 *Goal was 3 reps, but I was actually happy with just 2 reps. Could of made the 3rd rep but, my second rep was a little shaky and decided to rack it. Tricep Extensions 5x8 w/ 25lb DB Lat Pull Downs 3 sets of 8,8,10 x 70lbs Rear Delts 3x10 w/ 10lb DB's Hammer Curls 3x8 w/ 25lb DB's

Bill, might invest in a pair of sawhorses like MikeM has in his videos if you're worried about dumping the weight. I had some cheapo plastic ones that held up okay to about 225. But then I dropped 125 from overhead on them and they exploded.
