If there's one thing I've learned is I don't respond to too rigid of a plan; so I'll add more thoughts as I go along. For now, yesterday's training session: Thursday 15th November Low Bar Squats 20kg x 6, 6, 6 60kg x 3, 3 100kg x 3 140kg x 1 160kg x 1 170kg x 1 180kg x 1 160kg x 1, 1, 1, 1 Paused Bench 60kg x 3 80kg x 3, 3 100kg x 3 120kg x 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 100kg x 1, 1, 1 Shrugs 182.5kg x 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6 1 minute between sets. Squats are looking good now, nice smooth descent and dip at the bottom. Going below parallel and it doesn't feel odd. Shoulder/Pec tendon feeling sore, need to back off the raw work a little. But all in all, looking up. |

Power Clean & Push Press 20kg x 8, 8, 8 40kg x 5 60kg x 1 70kg x 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 Power Clean 80kg x 1 Partial Front Squat (8th Pin Down) 100kg x 1 140kg x 1 180kg x 1, 1, 1, 1 1 minute between sets. My Push Press form is so crap, don't get hardly any drive and just hurts my wrists. Front Partials are brutal, nuke the upper back. |
