Friday Jan 18th
First let's talk todays Speed Squats,then some videos,then rambles. Speed Squats 175lbs (under 50%) 6x3. Minimal rest. Close Stance (shoulder width) GMs - 175 3x10 Jerks. First time.135 3x5. I love these. The first 3 videos are of each set,with commentary at the end of 3rd video. Floor Squats 135x20. 4th video is these. Leg curls 4x10 too easy. Three ab raises hanging from the arm hook things. Nah. Did some ankle flexibility stuffs. Descended slower on speed squats,took longer to bring up speed. More squatting I do,closer I can bring my hands. Belted up on speed sets and GMs. Clint Dardens new video on INTENSITY helped a lot. So did failing Wednesday,got angry today. Switched the set/rep scheme up on speed sets than I was doing a la WSBB. Back is pumped! Ate a 20 piece wang pre training! First time doing jerks. They fun! I want more tricep work. Oh yeah baby! Goodnight.

I was expecting Jerks to be like a clean & jerk, without the clean. It's pretty much a squat and then a BTNP push style?. Interesting for sure.
I thought it would be a better idea to just drop the bar at the end of those floor squats. So all this stuff is in the cube book? And what are 20 piece wang's? LOL I'll assume wing's haha ![]() Never a dull moment in here. Nice work Ben!

So were you able to do push presses like that one video, because i feel it helped me. Never occurred to me to use hip drive.
