Squat: 1rm was 415. Training max will be 373. Deadlift: 1rm was 455. Training max will be 400. First week looks like this: Tuesday-Squat Accumulation: Squat-10X@225 with 60 seconds between sets Leg Press-5X20@sled plus 200lbs Zombie Squats-3X5 at undetermined weight Some type of explosive training Saturday-Deadlift Accumulation: Deadlift-8X5@245 RDL-3X3@315 Shrugs-5X5@315 Explosive training Life updates: Went from working a ton to only working Thurs-Sat. Ironically, I make more money, but the hours are odd, the work is boring, and I dont really care for being on a train going somewhere that has a crappy gym. I am going to skip any upper body training until the first of the year to rest my wrist. Once I start training upper again, I will probably change my workout schedule slightly.

Lots of foam rolling and mobility work today, hips where tight as hell.
Squat: 5@bar 5@135 9X5@225 AMRAP@225 Got 10, wouldve had a few more, but ![]() This was supposed to be done with 60 seconds in between sets. Didnt even come close to that. By set 4 I was wheezing and needed a diet coke. I started to just take a few minutes between sets and then I took 5 before my AMRAP set. My foresight to move the trash can next to the rack was a solid choice. My legs feel like rubber and are shaking and pulsing as I type this. Been a long time since I felt like this. Leg Press: 3X10@sled+200 Zombie Squats: I tried to do these and couldnt get into position without the bar choking the hell out of me. Will try again on a day when I have more gas in the tank. Notes: Solid day for me, squats where easy as far as weight was concerned and bar speed was good, but my conditioning sucks.

At set 5 I was thinking about quitting but my bar speed was still so fast I had to keep going. Tomorrow is going to suck, if I can even get out of bed.

Got a list of comps I want to do, but money and work are a huge factor right now. At this point I couldnt do a comp and go to work the next day just to being wrecked and I have no vacation set up for next year. I think I could possibly do a p/l meet and go to work the next day though. I would like to hit at least one of each in the next 12 months.
It will get better as I get better conditioned and the program cycles in 4 weeks.
