I decided to go for PR's in all my lifts today so I can see where I truly am as I get ready for next years comp. Squat: 45 lbs 5 x\ 135 2x\ 225 1x\ 275 1x\ 285 1x PR I knew I had a lot left in my squat, that was a 40 lb jump Bench 45 10x\ 135 2x\ 245 missed\ 235 missed Deadlift: 135 3x\ 225 1x\ 315 1x\ 325 1x\ 330 1 x PR I didn't want to leave without a bench PR. I knew it was there if I went at it smart this time. I went for it again Bench: 230 1x PR So now as I get ready for the competition my lifts are: Bench: 230 Goal: 310 Squat: 285 Goal: 365 Deadlift: 330 Goal: 410 I want these by the last week of February |

Today I started the routine Steve suggested to get me ready for the competition. It went well.
Dynamic warmup Bench press: 185 lbs 8x/ 6x/ 6x Squat: 250 lbs 5x/ 5x/ 4x I love to squat. I really like it when I'm fatiguing and I fill my legs drop a gear and finish driving the bar up. I'm glad he programmed two squat days a week. I'm thinking of adding another set or two to both lifts.
