Shoulder Work yesterday... Everything felt ok, but presses....

Shoulder Dislocations - 10, 15, 15, 15

Rotator Cuff DB's - 12/10, 12/10, 12/10

Around the World - 10/25, 10/35, 10/45, 12/25

Seated DB Military Press - 5/50 (painful) Dropped to 35's.. Felt the same

Rear Delt Cables - 10/20, 12/20, 12/30, 12/30

Side Delt Cables - 15/20, 15/25, 10/30

Dips - 15, 15, 15

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Squat Day...Tried to work in Low bar Squats, but even after 20-30min of trying to losen up my shoulders. I couldn't get the bar low enough without pain. To get the Barbell below my Traps in that Groove between the muscles. I have to lean foward some as well. Where I'm not standing perfectly straight. When I keep by back tight. The bar wants to pop up out of that groove. It's wierd.. I dicthed the Low Bar squats after warm ups...

Any reason why you were trying to do low bar? Any advantage to doing so?

Ever since Steve recommended I high bar squat to get more upright I haven't looked back and now HB squat only. I don' think I have leane donce since.

Big volume on the box squats!

They've never worked for me either.

How wide of a grip were you trying to use, just out of curiosity?

All I keep hearing and reading everywhere. Is low bar squats allow you to do more weight easier. I just can't seem to get the bar in the right spot without killing my shoulders.

I've gone as wide as I could with the rack we have. Some one mentioned that I might be trying to push up on the during the movement. But it hurts before even being unracked. But I tried gripping the bar and putting my pinky under the bar. To keep from trying to press up. That wasn't the problem.

Time to get a squat rack and buffalo bar at home.

I had horrible shoulder issues and that's the only thing that solved it for me.

Yeah that's no fun. JB made a ghetto safety squat bar. Not sure if you seen that.
