Hi all, New to this forum. A little about myself, I compete in the GPC and am 2012 British powerlifting champion at 125 open at 24yr. This year squatted an equipped British record in briefs of 327.5kgs which was an all time PB for me. Hopefully next year I can build on that as well as bench 200 with is a big targer for me.
Saturday 6/10/12 upper body assistance (all in kgs) Floor press against dbl mini band bar x 10 x 2 sets 60 x 10 x 2 sets 80 x 10 x 2 sets 100 x 8 Top set 120 x 8 x 4 sets (Stayed controlled with legs flat and made sure I was pressing hard with my triceps) High incline db press 40 x 10 x 4 sets Rope / mini band / straight bar pushdowns 30 / 30 / 30 x 2 sets Good solid session for the day. Nothing major or exciting but does the job |

Squat and Deadlift Squat bar x 10 60 x 10 100 x 10 140 x 10 Add wraps + Belt 160 x 5 180 x 5 200 x 5 (taking my time with lighter weights making sure im squatting correctly and powerfully) 18" Deadlifts 100 x 3 140 x 3 180 x 3 220 x 3 260 x 1 (good strong pull and a good starting point but needs some serious work) Stiff Leg Deadlifts 60 x 5 100 x 5 140 x 5 180 x 5 200 x 5 Finished. Happy with this day. Not big numbers for me but its a great start. Best stiff leg is 250 x 1 and 18" is 300 x 1 as its just below my sticking point. Both these numbers I think can be beaten by next year easily. |
