Thanks! I think I had a little bit more in me, but with 21-15-9 coming up after I decided to play it safe.

I also finally gave in and ordered some olympic lifting straps and knee sleeves. Very excited to have them haha.

^Based this off a 1RM of 225, 185 was heavy but not difficult, maybe time to take another max on PP

Finished in 5:48

I didn't think it was going to be that rough, but the last round was just brutal, my endurance for running sucks as is but with everything else the ring rows at the end killed me.

Hey Steve,

Yes gymnastics rings, a lot of work that I do with dips, push ups and sometimes pullups focus on the rings. The reasoning behind this is because in competition most of workouts have muscle-up's somewhere in them so it is useful to be skilled on the rings.

Olympic lifting class again tonight, very excited!

Olympic lifting class last night. It was awesome becuase there were only 3 people that attended, so lots of 1 on 1 communication. We focused on the three different positions of the snatch.

Position 1
worked up to 155

Position 2
worked up to 160

Position 3
worked up to 175, but couldn't get it.

Thanks Steve, I think my short term goal for this year is to be able to put up 225 on the snatch and a 350 clean

This WOD killed me.

5 Round for Time
40 Double Unders
15 Burpees
15 KB Swings @ 54 lbs
15 Deadlifts @135 lbs
1 15 ft rope climb
-Finished in 42:38

My time sucked because it literally took me 10 minutes to finish my last rope climb, I had no grip in my left hand because my forearm was so pumped up. I think it was because I used too much arm on my initial rope climbs so it will be better when I am able to do it again as I think I got the form down.
