I saw your post in the 150-200 lbs guys thread, and saw that you linked to strength standards. This is what you had posted in the strength standards thread less than 3 years back in November 2009:

I think I could get close to 430 on bench. Maybe could get upper 5's on deadlift, but don't know if I could ever cross 500 on squat. Heck, I don't even know if I could get white-lighted on squat.

Maybe we need to start a Quest for the 1600 club.
^^^ All this, And where are you now sir??

Stupidly easy squat but J Byrd of all people can't be envious of anyone squatting

Amazing to read you didn't know if a 500 squat was within your capability 3 years back and in reality, a 600 is now yours for the taking. Food for thought for all of us who wonder how far we can go.

Thanks Kit. It comes with a price, which was weight gain. The weight gain really helped drive gains. 85% heavy training helped too of course. The combination was powerful, and something I had never tried before.

I've certainly learned to increase my expectations and demand more of myself. Part of my problem was being satisfied.
