Okey, dokey!...

...X-rays, of lower spine came back great, all disc spaces, facet joints (??) and thingummyjiggies related to them as well as the sacroiliac joint/s (??, is it plural) and such are fine...there's one in the eye for all those that say lifting is bad for the back

I think this may just be a case of waiting it out, maybe some inflammation etc and I have some gel for that to see what happens; certainly, so far, nothing is any worse and possibly a touch better but the body can be a funny old thing anyway, as we all know.

For the time being, I'm going to just try and continue with the stretching and see what happens...there's no rush even if I will end up getting impatient to do some lifting.

Today
cardio base work: high knee stepping, to deliberately stretch and work the back at the same time as the lungs and heart.

DB swings (1 set: 10 minutes duration)
KB snatches (lightweight only)
KB OHP (lightweight only)

TFL stretching

Will be doing some more stretching as the day progresses but only light stuff today, nothing heavy. At the moment, I'm assessing how the body is responding to different moves, so everything is being kept slightly minimalised for good reason.

Tomorrow onwards, I want to get some more cardio work going and may focus on aerobic capacity more whilst I give the back, abs, hips and legs a good stretching and base strengthening programme to work on which will obviously be the primary goal at present but also take secondary precedence in terms of heavy weights and such and allow the cardio to become the primary focus in a weird sense: I trust that makes sense to readers.

Great to see that you've no intention of allowing things to stop you training. Even better to hear of an improved outlook
