Dr.Abs' Gaspari Nutrition Stack
Hey guys, I had a chance to log some products from Gaspari nutrition a few months ago & figured I'd copy my log here so you can check it out.

First of all, I'd like to really thank BK for chosing me as one of the loggers for this stack : SizeOn, Super Pump Max, Viridex XT & Spirodex.
As I had mentioned before, I've had no previous experience with any Gaspari product before, and I will be very honest in giving my opinion regarding any or all of the products being logged. This will be a 4 week log using the above stack & what I'm hoping it'll help me do is get back in the kind of shape I was in before taking time off. I'm expecting some fat loss as well as some size & strength gains. Stats: Height: 5'10 Weight: 205 lbs BF%: 18% Training experience: on & off for about 9 years. I've been out of the gym for about 3 months ( no injuries, just moving & getting settled etc...), now just got back to working out & want to get back to where I used to be ASAP & make some more gains FAST ! Diet: I'll be doing a recomp, more on the side of a cut, so i'll probably be doing IF. I normally eat clean & healthy, but don't count calories. Training Split: - Chest + Tri's - Back + Bi's - off - Legs + Abs - Shoulders - Cardio + Abs - off I also do 15-20 mins of low to moderate intensity cardio before & after my lifting sessions ; HIIT is for a cardio-only day With my weight training I generally stick to the basics as long as they're doing the trick before switching things up & trying new things. I usually try to train heavy & follow progressive overload, & add in drop sets, supersets, forced reps, etc. as needed. I try & listen to my body when it comes to training. So if according to my split, I have shoulders but I feel like they could use an extra day off or feel like training legs instead, I just do it . With that said, I've taken my 1st serving of Viridex XT this morning along with the suggested assessment dose of 1 Spirodex, both on an empty stomach. I'm guessing the Viridex will take a few days to show any effects, but as far as the Spirodex goes, I can say that within 20-30 mins Istarted feeling alert, somewhat energized & noticeably warmer. I like the fact that I didn't experience a strong stimulant effect; if this remains the case for the next couple of days, I will go up to the recommended 2 Spirodex per day. Later today, I will be taking a serving of Super Pump before heading to the gym & will be sipping on a serving of SizeOn. |
First workout with SP Max was delts & traps day.
I also took my second serving of Viridex XT about 45 mins before working out. Took 1 scoop of SP Max, which is again the recommended assessment serving size. After today, I can tell that at a little over 200 pounds of body weight, I need to up the serving to 1.5 scoops. Felt focused & had nice energy throughout my workout. Here's a look at today's workout: DB Shoulder Press 2 sets w/ 30's x 16 reps 2 sets w/ 40's x 12 2 sets w/ 50's x 10 Behind-the-neck press (full range of motion here) 2 - 95 lbs x 16 2 - 115 lbs x 12 2 - 145 lbs x 10 Side Lateral Raises 3 - 20's x 16 3 - 25's x 16 1 - 30's x 10 Reverse Pec Dec/ Rear Delt 4 - 50 lbs x 12 Up Right Rows ( using low pulley cable) 2 - 35 lbs x 16 2 - 45 lbs x 12 2 - 50 lbs x 10 Shrug Machine 3 - 90 lbs (on each side) x 12 2 - 135 lbs x 10 As you guys can see here, this workout was more on the side of higher reps/volume. The reason for this is that this is what it takes for me to feel a good pump in my delts. I can train them heavy & feel a good stretch & soreness the next day or two, but when it comes to achieving a good pump, they need higher volume. Now add in the SP Max pre-workout, and I have a nice pump going during my workout. & while SP Max tasted okay, the Size On orange flavor was absolutely delicious ! I didn't feel depleted after my workout at all & I'm hoping it'll also help with any DOMS. |
2nd workout with SP Max & SizeOn was yesterday,
I worked on Lats & Biceps, here's what I did: Wide-grip Lat Pulldown (1) 100 x 20 (1) 120 x 12 (1) 140 x 12 (1) 150 x 10 Bent Over DB Rows (1) 45's x 15 (1) 50's x 15 (1) 50's x 12 Hammer Strength Decline Rows (didn't have this machine at my old gym, but so far I like it because it hits the lats from an unusual angle) (2) 45's (each side) x 12 (2) 70's x 10 Low Pulley Cable EZ Curls (gd for keeping constant tension on the bi's & getting a gd flex at the top of the ROM) (1) 50 x 12 (1) 60 x 10 (1) 65 x 8 (1) 45 x 16 DB Hammer Curls (1) 30 x 12 (1) 35 x 10 (1) 40 x 8 - Noticed the pump was a bit better by using 1.5 scoops of SP Max; also there was no discomfort from sipping SizeOn during my workout. |
Curious what you thought of Max. I liked SuperPump but have yet to try Superpump Max.

3rd workout with SP Max & SizeOn was today,
Worked on Chest & Tri's, here's what I did: 2nd workout with SP Max & SizeOn was yesterday, I worked on Lats & Biceps, here's what I did: Bench Press (1) 135 x 20 (1) 185 x 12 (1) 205 x 12 (1) 225 x 10 Incline DB Press (1) 40's x 20 (1) 55's x 12 (1) 70's x 8 (I guess not too bad for someone who was pressing 90's for 10 reps not too long ago ) Hammer Strength Pull Overs (my old gym didn't have this machine either, but I definitely like the nice stretch I get from yet another unusual angle) (2) 100 lbs x 15 (2) 150 x 10 V-bar Press down (2) 70 x 16 (2) 85 x 12 DB Kickbacks (2) 25 x 12 (2) 30 x 10 (1) 30 x 12 (1) 35 x 10 (1) 40 x 8 - Today I took 1.5 scoops of SP Max & timed my servings of Viridex & Spirodex pre-workout; felt it helped me with better focus during the workout & working up a good sweat. |
Yesterday was a rest day; took 1 serving of viridex in the morning along with with 1 spirodex, & then the 2nd servingof viridex later in the evening.
Since starting the spirodex, I've noticed i'm getting hungry about 2-3 hours later than when i normally do. |
yesterday i did legs & took 2 scoops of SP Max preworkout
here's what i did: Squats (1) 135 x 20 (1) 185 x 15 (1) 235 x 10 (1) 265 x 7 Seated Leg Curl (1) 75 x 20 (1) 90 x 16 (2) 110 x 12 Leg Extensions (1) 110 x 20 (1) 135 x 16 (1) 150 x 12 (1) 165 x 12 Calf Raises (3) 75 x 15 (2) 125 x 12 (1) 185 x 10 - Good workout, felt energized through out. In terms of strength, handling the weights was not too hard, so I will definitely be going heavier next time. Not too sore today either, thanks to Size On. |
A quick little update, was feeling a little depressed a few days ago, found out a lot of users experience this kind of thing with products containing geranamine
on a +ve note, my cardio session have been pretty good & I've noticed I'm looking a bit leaner, got a couple of comments from friends... in regards to the viridex, i can say that i do feel my libido has gotten a nice boost, as well as feeling refreshed/recovered even with missing an hour or two of extra sleep at night. |
