Dynamic Effort *Low* Box Cambered Bar Squats VS Doubled Monster Mini Bands *(somewhere between 10-14inches) 100x 2x1 140x 2x1 190x 2x1 230x 2x3sets 280x 2x1 300x 2x1 320x 2x1 ~Normally do 3 sets but I am de-loading til the new year is over. Also I always do speed work in my wrestling shoes, so I don't think I should have a problem switching away from oly shoes. Deadlifts (Speed Pulls) VS Quaded Choked Monster Minis 145+BT x1x2 145+BT x1+Short Mini Bands 195+BT x1 195+BT x1+Short Mini Bands 215+BT x3 +Short Mini Bands*Got a little amped up, felt the K-Otic working and absolutely destroyed it. Fasted set of the night considering the crap load of band tension with the addition short mini bands in combination with the choked quaded monster minis. Over all a good night. Thursday DEC 30 2010 Pause Squats 225x1 275x1 315x1 315x1 285x1 Paused Bench Press 185x3x2sets 205x3x2sets 225x5 275x5 SumoDeadlifts VS Heavy Blue band 315+BTx1+1conv 365+BTx1+1conv 405+BTx1 455+BTx1*pr K-otic Ratings 1-Strength/Rep Increase:Still the same rating,8 to 9*Noticeable difference on rep endurance and volume especially on heavy sets I hit a few 2-3rep prs ever so often. 2-Size/Weight Gains:N/A Strength has been up,No water bloating, muscles feel and look a lot harder. This is a +. 3-Sustained Workout Energy: 10+ definitely felt it carry me through my heavier than normal de-load week. Definitely do not feel as fatigued as I should, a very reliable & consistent source of energy, no crashes for me. *FIRST BACK TO BACK TRAINING SESSION IN AWHILE,ALSO BRUTAL DOUBLE SQUAT/DEADLIFT-ING VARIANTS, ALL FELT EASY!* 4-Pumps:9.Instead of typical soreness I do notice more of a "pump" tense flexed muscle over a really soft putty muscle stiffness (if that makes any sense) Definitely has been reducing my D.O.M.S(delayed onset muscle soreness) Product helps me stay focused. 5-Side Effects:N/A. None, no side effects whats so ever. Drank K-Otic with food no problem,on its own no problem,half during training no problem. No dehydration, no acne, no itching. 10/10 on comfortability taking this product. 6-Overall assessment- So far I will give it an 9.6 on average.Very pleased with the consistency of the product. Still say its no hype,very solid, stand up supplement.This product hasn't let me down so far, so I am a happy lifter. |

SSB (14inch) Box Squats Vs Orange Light Bands 135+BTx 2x2sets 185+BTx 2x2sets 225+BTx 2x3sets 275+BTx 2x2sets 315+BTx 2x2sets*PR *Big pr for me considering this is the lowest box I have used so far, and the hardest bar for my build and low bar forward lean squat technique which is done with oly shoes, but since it uses the same muscles as my conventional deadlift and I want to be fresh to hit 500+ Squat and 600+Deadlift need to work on staying upright. Pause Bench Press 175x3 195x 3x2sets 215x 3x2sets 235x5 *Been benching flat back as to not aggravate my back and work the chest/triceps and upper lats a little more and get them stronger* Assortment of pull ups/lat pull down variations Pretty beat up, stressed out and tired but whatever, time to turn on the tunnel vision and get things on lockdown. Another day if I didn't have the K-Otic, I would have been too beat to go for a pr, I did my 2nd set about a minute or so after with the 315/SSB and that wasn't enough rest time, so it took a lot out of me and drained me for the rest of the day.Not worried big things to come Friday |

Squats*(with wrestling shoes)
365x1 405x2 455x2 475x1*Pr for shoes & bodyweight, felt great looked better 405x5 Sumo Speed Pulls 353x3 x4sets 353x1 x4sets *Went to wendy's* Pause Bench Press 215x3 245x5 295x2 3inch Mat Deadlifts 415x1 415x2 435x2 *Just wasn't feeling it & called it a day Felt strong early on the training, but it took forever, went to wendy's with one training partner came back to the gym to finish off with another who was coming in late. Since I missed Wed should have double dosed the K-Otic since I felt it early on with the squats, but let too much time pass in between. I didn't crash or anything but just didn't fell as motivated. Still smoked the Squats tho considering everything. |

Deadlifts VS Quaded Monster Mini's (Jumpstrech) Conventional-Sumo Stance-Conventional(*30-69secs rest in between +reps*) 145x1 +1 + 1 195x1 + 1 + 1 235x1 + 1 + 1 275x1 + 1 +1 ~Felt Easy Breezy T-bar Rows 1plate x3reps + 2 plates x3reps 3plates x3reps + 4plates x3reps Neutral Grip Pulls ups bw/6 bw/5 K-OTIC-I found out it personally works better for me when I drink it during my warm up sets, since it usually takes me 15minutes to set everything up and get everything just right before starting my working sets. 10/10 for raw power. Felt I could tear down the walls and rip apart the whole gym. |
