Glad to see you squatted. I need to get my diet back in check as well. I've had a few sub-par weeks.

We're starting to have corn on the cob given to us in mass quantities, and with that comes a butter bath.

Don't worry about what you "should" be deadlifting. As long as you stay consistent and don't give up you'll be warming up with 1.5x your BW soon enough

What I do is I don't get up too quickly after a heavy set. I just stay bent over the bar until I catch my breath a little and only then stand upright.

Btw, that's actually your soul leaving your body after you Deadlift. It returns once you're done with your set. Ask any powerlifter.

Also, your Deadlift will improve in time. I started off Deadlifting just a tad over my BW, but I stuck with it and now it's my best lift (not saying a lot, but still. lol).
