That's what I figured. I'm eating as much as I can and taking all those supplements I listed at the beginning. I just want to see if there are any better options out there that I haven't heard about.

forget the supps and forget the milk and whatever else you can think of..........
food glorious food! eat tons of it and work out hard then sleep and repeat! you can take as many supps as you want but they are no replacement for food and tons of it! |

I don't recommend going supplement free. I'm a big fan of a multi, fish oil, BCAAs/Glutamine and whey at minimum. I think he has a rock solid basic plan. Lifting can tax the heck out of the body, and even if you are eating a ton there are holes in your nutrition. I realized this after I started getting my levels checked. My D-3 was very low, as were several other levels. Fish oil helps with many things, including joint and tendon pain and inflammation. BCAAs/Glutamine help with recovery and soreness. Sure, they aren't "mass builders." But they do help you run more effectively.

^^ i guess they may have been too blunt....
i wasn't saying forget them as in don't take them cause they serve no purpose. i was simply saying there is no greater "mass builder" than FOOD! i believe in taking whey imediately after lifting cause its the fastest processed through the body. but i don't drink three a day and don't think anyone should have to when they are looking to gain weight. i also take fish oils and a daily and i take my glutamine when i remember to but i don't believe this is creating any more mass on my body than if i was not to take them at all. |

been using:
whey protein fish oil multi vitamin bcaa and...wait for it.. turmeric ![]() actually pretty impressed by tumeric. reduces inflammation. prevents cancer, memory loss, supress fat tissue growth and so on... Curcumin - Highest amount per capsule and per bottle |
