2/14/13: 2 scoops in 16oz water on Paused Bench + accessory
Energy: Energy was a little slow to get going, but once the caffeine kicked in, I was ready to destroy my paused bench sets. I packed in some serious volume in about 75 minutes today and although I had a nice sweat going at the end, I didn’t feel exhausted. Focus: Focus on the touch and go and close grip bench back off sets was a bit stronger than the focus on paused bench. However, focus during accessory work, especially rows was high and I really focused on the appropriate muscles working and ensuring each rep was smooth yet explosive. Pump: Outstanding pump in my triceps and chest after bench, OHD, and tricep extensions. Rows (upright and 1-arm bb row) gave me a solid lat pump up and down my entire back. The agmatine in Juggernaut paired with carb backloading is a great combination for pumps! |

2/15/13: 2 scoops in 16oz water on Back Squat + accessory
Energy Felt pretty good going in to the workout and I could definitely feel the caffeine boost while warming up for back squats. I had solid energy for the top set, but it definitely gassed me. Luckily juggernaut helped me power through the high rep deads and 5-rep front squats. Overall, energy was good, but not excellent. Focus Focus during the back squat top set was good until about halfway through, when I started getting in my own head about my form. Nonetheless, I powered through and focused on crushing the weights. Mind-muscle connection during front squats and deadlifts was above average. Pump Great pump in the upper back, glutes, and quads after back squats haha. Deadlifts really pumped up my forearms and posterior chain. The Bulgarian split squats really helped with glute and quad pumps. |

2/17: 2 scoops on overhead + accessory day
Energy: Despite going out last night, I went in to the workout with fairly high energy – juggernaut gave me that extra boost that helped me to add volume to my workout and decrease my rest periods. Started fading during front raises and bicep curls, but that’s to be expected given I performed about 300 reps of various exercises today Focus: Had a bit of trouble focusing during my warm-up and top sets for overhead press, but after a decent top set performance, my focus increased noticeably during chins. Lost focus again during bench, but regained it for low rows, BHTNP, and accessory work Pump: Outstanding pump in my shoulders and traps after koklov, BHTNP, and plate front raises. Low cable row and chins gave me a nice pump in my forearms, biceps, and lower lats, but pump wasn’t too great in the upper back. Nonetheless, left the gym feeling swole haha |

2/18: 2 scoops on deadlift + accessory day
Energy: Felt good going in to the workout and once juggernaut kicked in, I was flying through my deadlift warm-up, top set, and back off sets. Energy stayed high during BBB Squats but I definitely notice fatigue starting to set in during SGDLs and abs + minor accessory work Focus: Focus on the top set of deadlifts was excellent – I could really feel myself thinking about inititating with the upper back and not raising my hips too quickly – also was able to focus strongly on keeping my knees out on squats Pump: Pump in the forearm and upper back department after conventional and SGDLs was nice; quad and glute pump was decent from back squats, insane hammie pump after high rep hamstring curls |

2/20: 2 scoops on chest + accessory day
Energy: Energy going in to the workout was already quite high (finally dialing in on my sleep). However juggernaut gave me the extra boost to crush my bench and accessory work. Energy wasn’t as pronounced during the bench warm up and top sets, but after only getting one rep above the prescribed on paused bench, I kicked it in to overdrive. Focus: Focus was kind of weak on bench but afterwards, I took an extra minute or two of rest to really hone in on my focus and ensure I finish the workout strong. Juggernaut certainly helped me with this and the MMC was strong during chest supported rows, incline db press, and minor accessory work Pump: Insane pump in the triceps after bench and overhead work; lats, forearms, and biceps got a sick pump from chest supported rows. Upright rows rounded me out with a good shoulder and trap pump. |
