I have been thinking of trying this. I was reading this quote earlier:

No study has yet shown that D-aspartic acid increases muscle mass or strength but as Dan says, it has been shown in an Italian study published in the journal Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology to increase luteinising hormone (LH) by 33% in humans. LH is well known to stimulate testosterone production and test levels went up by 44% in this study. It had similar effects in rats.

So if you used this stuff a couple of times a day at the right dosage (3 grams per serving), you might see a small increase in muscle mass, strength and recovery. It is possible you could increase your odds of estrogenic side effects (like gyno - male breast growth) and possibly other side effects (as from DHT - like acne and hair loss) but I doubt you'd have any of these problems from a 44% increase in testosterone (as your test levels would likely remain in the "normal" range). Also, no one knows if taking D-aspartic acid in the medium or longer term would continue to cause elevated test levels as the body can be pretty clever when it comes to maintaining "homeostasis" (keeping the body's metabolism on an even keel and modulating any changes effected by diet, etc).
