Thanks Bama! I learned a lot writing it, finding out what actually is the least expensive protein source. I had always assumed canned tuna was super cheap, but it actually ended up being one of the highest things I looked at.
There are several sources I didn't put on the list, one of them being milk, as I feel it is too high carb by far to be looked at as a protein source. I would view it as a complete food source instead. It seems to come in around $0.60 cents per 25g, but at only 1g per ounce on average, it isn't very protein dense.
