I have seen some strong people at 165-185 range. My Buddy Squatted 500x5 at 175 a week out before his show and he looked big. Natty big anyway.I don't agree with these viewpoints entirely, if your 5'7 your not going to look good at all at 250 if you are clean. Im talking from a aesthetics point of view of course.

I'm with SeventySeven. I'm sure Miked96 is speaking mostly about guys who think lifting heavy and building a strong foundation is overrated and a waste of time. Being a guy who is naturally between the 170-180 lb range, I'm always striving to become stronger. I like being the guy who others don't think can lift much, I'm not one to walk around advertising that I'm a strong guy and lift weights. I know what I can do.

I guess I just took it different than you guys. I am with Mike in that I get sick of hearing about the curl bros who just want abs at 150lbs. Nothing about that impresses me, but then again I am sure nothing about my lifting impresses them haha.

trust me. I'll be happy with being a solid 200lbs with still visible abs, but at my height and body it'll be a stretch. I'm proud at what I can do at the weight I'm at but I always want more.
