Default Hedlesky's Log... heh... log.

Hi.

Alright, last week of higher volume before I go into mind bending, soul rendering intensity. Next week is a taper/test week. Then I will have six weeks to hopefully get my $hit together enough to not suck at push pull nationals. This week so far:

Monday- Off. Did a strongman competition on Saturday that wiped me the f*ck out. I didn't train for it, have been slacking on conditioning, and am just really f*cking weak right now. Here were the results:

Tire Flip- 600lbs- 15 reps in 90s
Standing Arm over Arm Tires Pull- 350lbs- 50 feet in 39 seconds
Farmer Walk- 350lb tire- 300 god awful feet for some time that wasn't good
Deadlift ladder- Smoked everyone, went for a raw 750 on my last attempt. My hands were uneven because the damn bar didn't have any rings on it. Missed it at the knee because it looked like I was trying to And1 mix tape it around my back or something.

Tuesday-7/29/14

Deads- 440+300 in bands- 6x2
Sqs- 135x3x5, 225x2x5 <~~~~ getting over a hip issue that I hope is finally going away.
Pendlay Rows- 315x5x5
DH Pull Ups- 5x5

Rower- 1600m of 100 sprint/100 50%
Bike- 15mins

PM-
Reverse Hyper- 90lbsx50
Planks- 1min on/30s off x3
KB Bottoms up Clean- 50lbs x 3x5
Stretched

Wednesday- 7/30/14
Bench- 365x6x2
Cg- 375x3x3
MP- 200x3, 155x8
Stretched

PM- Epson bath/contrast shower- 20mins/10mins

Some heavier deads today. Should be terribly disappointing.

That was before tnation turned into Nazi Germany. They thought I was a fucking cyber terrorist or something and moderated 90% of the shit I posted. I finally contacted them to ask why they cut so much of the information out that I was posting. The response I got was that they thought I was sponsored or worked for another company. I sent an email back stating if that were the case, why don't they themselves sponsor me so they know for sure. I never got a response. I wrote up a couple of more emails to send but there is only so many ways I can use the word "fuck." Something to the extent of:

"If your fucking supplements fucking worked, then myself, some random fuck on the internet, shouldn't have any fucking pull in terms of affecting your fucking sales."

The funny part is, I am not nor have I ever been sponsored by anyone. Anyway, rant over. Fuck them.

Push Pull Nationals? Does USAPL have that? Are you betraying the IPF and the van ride from hell?

Yea, it is. Just no one ever does it. I think the "National Deadlift Record" for the meet for my weight class is only like 611 (277kg in Canadian).

I don't think I am allowed to compete outside the USAPL anymore. Once you are a member of the world team, they send the IPF Gestapo to your house if you compete somewhere else.
