It's true that sleep is disrupted for some people who become intolerant to alcohol, oddly age can cause this as well; I have issues with drinking as little as 2 units (or one) of alcohol in the early hours of the evening and onwards...I end up climbing the walls for hours as it gets to grips with my CNS...it's no fun and I'd rather just avoid the stuff than go through that hell for the sake of a drink.

If I'm going to have a drink, midday is the latest I will do so, that seems to work; not that I drink that much or that frequently anyway but it's nice to have the option, if you want to enjoy a drink once in a while.
