Considering we trained late last night, didn't get home until gone midnight and then had to get this done at 8am, things went surprisingly well. Positioning better on deads, just need to get this down to the floor again. Remembered some cues I'd forgotten recently that should help though.

Ok session, lost positioning a little on the last rep of the dead top set but not too bad. Was a ballache as I had to trek the cast iron 50kg plates across the gym to load the bar over 200kg, that was worse than the deads alone.

Kaz always said the reason for his strength was that he never loaded a plate. He probably never would have made World's Strongest Man if he had to haul 50s across a gym floor.

Ok session, considering it was my first exam and I was running on coffee fumes since 7am I'll take it ha.

Squats all look high, might be dodgy camera angle trying to dodge crossfitters and their crazy shit.

My wider grip is proving to be stronger than my old grip, especially pausing so from now on anything labelled bench/comp with no reference to grip will be ring finger on rings and wide will be max legal width. Equal PB at 130 x 3 and 1, maybe 2 reps left in it. Lots of bench volume overall today anyway as I didn't seem to fatigue.

Since I've been snatching a lot more on off days and doing more pull-ups again my shoulders feel great, 2 strong pain free bench sessions for the first time in a couple months.

Quad cramps all the way home, walking like Michael Jackson.
