Yep, back at it properly now. 8 week cycle with a week peak/test in Feb which I have some small goals for and then an 8 week peak to BDFPA Nationals I think in April. Maybe BDFPA single lifts in March or a local GBPF meet sometime but they'll just be training with no peak or time out for them.

I rarely post them but off days tend to have extra session of snatch/clean work, OH squats and band stretching, will likely hit that up this afternoon.

Deads were off, I had the 200 x 5 in my mind if it were a good day, it wasn't maximal but I couldn't fight my ego to resist and stick to the plan. Just dropped back-offs.

Bench was feeling a little rough but top set and first back off were quality, tech starting to feel good with wider grip.

Squats were just brutal, thighs were about to explode.

Don't watch this video if you don't find farts funny. I was avoiding laughing as I was already half set up but seeing my spotter back-off because he was dying to laugh just killed me.

First time with wraps for some squat overload. They were pretty tight and threw my groove off a bit but definitely provide a decent overload, avoided pushing it today though.

Shoulders and tri's were dead for benching today, still got some work in.

Block pulls were surprisingly easy, used to be a rough area to pull from but my tech improvements and ability to get tight have stopped that. Lats are crazy pumped too which is a good sign. Watched some videos from last summer and the difference in technique is huge.

Volume on close grips and RDL's killed me.

Not the best. Squat down a little, hips and front/middle quads had some hangover from fri/sat sessions. Still, the numbers were still within my goal weights for the day and inside RPE parameters so all good.

Got some good volume in benching, shoulders were a little tight and sore for most but finished off feeling good. 3ct. x 5 is hard to judge, could have gone 100+ for top set but couldn't be bothered with another set before backoffs.
