Squat PR is coming Tuesday, not stepping out from that rack until I get 5 good reps at 120kg. I reckon 125x5kg for deadlift is coming too and hopefully more.
Getting some funny looks at my gym because my workout is completely different to everyone in there. I don't touch machines and rarely even use dumbbells. In seven months I have been there, I have seen maybe one or two guys deadlift and witnessed no one do 140kg squat for reps with decent form. Even cleans and push presses are alien!

Days like today make me glad I am dedicating myself to the iron. My work is going exceedingly crappy, I am back to square one which involves writing crap for crap money and I am starting to hate the thing I love the most (writing). Felt like shit going in today, no momentum, motivation, nothing. Yet when it came time to lift, it's like my brain said 'You can stop this session being crap too' and I managed to bust out squat and bench PR's.

Squat:

Weird experience. It was like my whole body was in unison to lift the weight. Felt nothing in my legs... until about 20 seconds after the last rep when they felt a bit wobbly but nothing bad.

Bench:
50x5
60x5
72.5x5
82.5x5
95x5 PR
Felt so confident that I didn't use a spotter. Was hard but got 5 good clean reps. Will use a spotter next week

Pendlay Rows:
30x5
40x5
50x5
60x5
70x5
Started off light because I did these last year and struggled with 50kg. Worked up to 70kg which felt fine. Have to use plates to rest the weight on however because I'm having to bend over too far to get a good grip on the bar and I need elevation to keep my back the way it should be.

Chins:
9,6,7: Tiredness rather than strength stopped me doing more.

Weighted Dips:
20kg: 8, 8, 8

Abs:
Serratus: 10kg: 3 x 12
Decline: 10kg: 15, 10: 12.5kg: 10
Russian Twist: 12.5kg: 3 x 12
