And even when they are done on successful athletes, not one single study that I have seen ever mentions their training history, as if it doesnt count at all! More so, when these studies deal with the training methods itself (eg: full-body / splits / training frequency, reps and sets etc).

In our university, often they ask for volunteers for diet/training studies. For one study, a couple of my friends volunteered, one of whom is not out of shape but isnt exactly very physically active, the other is a 155 lbs triathlete who deadlifts 385 lbs. Results of their studies on both can be compared? I think not.

I would love to see some studies performed on competitive powerlifters and bodybuilders. Guys beyond the beginner stage of things, natural and not, just to compare training and dietary approaches.
