Never even had 410 on my back so no idea how wrecked you must have been after making the rep! At least you were smart enough to have the bars in place (I've seen lots of guys who are not!) AND you made the single, mission accomplished

Thanks Kuyt. I always have those bars there, never know when things might go bad!

THanks Jim. Right now I've cut out all junk and eating whole foods, whey, and BCAAs only. Its the only way I can get control back sometimes.

Thanks Hunter. I used everything I had, and I really didn't think I could attempt to walk it in with the wraps on.

Brutal training today. I still feel like ass.

1 hour olympic lifts training class. Covered the snatch and clean and jerk, focusing on the explosive pull at the hip for the snatch at upper thighs for the clean. My god I'm out of shape.

2.5 hours strongman training.

Axle C&P
Worked up to 200 for a single. I have plenty of strength here, the technique is what kills me.

Kegs

Stones

Yoke - just me screwing around with 365, no real weight on it, just having fun.

I know what you mean wrt the oly lifting class. I have also taken a class before, and agree 100% it kicks ass in a very short amount of time. I was completely wasted after-wards. The place here offers a whole year long course for about $1300.00 pre paid. Pretty reasonable. However, I cannot afford both the crew/crew gym and that.

My big issue was the slow distinct pull from the floor on cleans.

Still scratching my head on how you did the strongman stuff as well. Maybe not so out of shape as you think!

Thanks Jim. Yeah, the oly stuff is pretty cool, but very difficult for me. The strongman work after was rough, but i had 5-10 minute breaks every now and then, so it wasn't so bad.

Thanks OR. Squats are becoming a favorite of mine. Now to get them STRONGER!

In other news, I'm starting up a new log, Brute Strength. This one has served me well, but I'm ready to start up something new now that my goals have solidified over the past year or so.
