Default No Motivation? Read this...

Here is my step by step guide to overcoming a lack of motivation.

Step 1 - Stop thinking about training. If you can't, distract yourself with thoughts of food or women. Better yet, Google images of women eating beef - steak or hamburger. That should help. If you're gay, Google images of men eating beef.

Step 2 - Tell yourself to shut the heck up. Put yourself down if you have to. Show yourself who's in control. Your long term goals are more important that your lazy ass short term desire to whine about how tired you are. Head to the bathroom, look in the mirror, and repeat the following: shut the f*** up and train. Or if you don't want to use the f-word, try this: you mean head! Shut your cake hole and train!

Step 3 - Go to the gym and load the bar. Take one step at a time until you get to your car. Next, drive your car to the gym. Next, load up the bar and start working out. Take things one step, one mile and one rep at a time. By the time you get 10 minutes into your workout, you will have forgotten about all the pissy ass whining you did 60 minutes ago, and will be thankful that you were able to gird up your balls and lift.

This is actually what I do when I have no motivation. I just stop thinking and move until the bar is loaded.
