Default Push-up Variations

Earlier in the year, I suffered a minor shoulder injury nothing serious. I was recommended to stay away from heavy loads for awhile to recovery and do some rehab. Of course I didn't really listen but I did a little. I'm stubborn like that.

I admit, I was going a bit stir crazy without being able to load up on anything that deals with a bench press, barbell or dumbbell. To ease my mind, I decided to take push-ups to a different level to challenge my body.

I learned that there is a ton of push-up variations, and that although i couldn't load them up (i would drap chains around me for added resistance), the challenge of them were good enough to ease my mind.

Here are few of the exercises I used:

Plank pushup is an interesting variation. I think I am going to have my daughter give that a try.
